The group received a presentation on Design Thinking and subsequently divided into teams tasked with identifying and describing a persona. Each team presented their persona, encompassing motivations, frustrations, and other attributes related to credit card usage.
In the next phase, the teams were guided to create a prototype solution and prepare for a role-playing scenario encompassing the identified persona, problem, , and the proposed solution, which they would present to the group. The teams found this exercise enjoyable and remarked that embodying the persona gave them a deep understanding of the factors influencing attitudes and emotions, including fear and anxiety, concerning credit.
During the persona presentations, as each team member discussed their character, they gradually became more at ease and open in their approach to the exercises. The collaborative nature of the activity and the encouragement to think creatively, which is somewhat unconventional in the Thai business context, fostered a sense of confidence among all participants. They believed they were unearthing valuable ideas that could be taken back to the office and shared with their colleagues.
